its sorta up to you how much you force yourself to learn. there are some versions that are about as intuitive as windows and others that require a lot of learning. you could always try to dual boot linux mint or gnome or something and see how you like it. im a rlly big fan of linux i think its worth trying

yeah its definitely harder. some games outright dont work, others require a lot of bullshit to get working. plenty work fine out of the box though. protondb.com has user submitted reviews of how well certain games work on linux

yes steamos is linux but not all steam games work on steamos (or other flavors of linux)
