the amazing atmosphere; the politics of the Metro are quite interesting in themselves and the factions are all quite distinct, even though gameplay-wise the nazis and reds are basically reskins. A great detail is how you can stop and listen to basically anyone and the game rewards you for it through the moral system and also story-wise. The characters are also unforgettable. Khan has got to be one of my favourite mentor/mystic type characters in gaming
