general – abstract – judgement is right and true if the underlying causation can be identified properly.
however: suggesting that large groups of people are "of x kind / character" is to skip this causation and therefore wrong.
character is not predetermined by genes, this is the concrete mistake that people make

Anyone else feel icked out when people form generalizing blanket statements/stereotypes/opinions about a large group of people that is usually only based on the actions of a vocal few? Especially when those statements/stereotypes/opinions are negative? Because I been seeing that a lot everywhere and… not a fan. I’d rather aspire to judge the individual rather than assume a few individuals are representative of a whole. Wondering if people here are like-minded.
