I also got in a severe burnout in college. Was a lot like what yours sounded like. It was rough, had to take a semester off, but I got in touch with some doctors and got some diagnoses (namely ADHD) and am now on some meds that I think are really helping. And I’m in therapy. And after a year total of being home, I’m back to taking a few online classes!
That is to say, it might NOT be your fault. And asking for help to figure out “EXACTLY how to fix it” is not a bad thing. As someone who’s been in similar shoes, that’s what I’d recommend, if you’re able. (Maybe not taking off a whole year like me, depends what your needs are.) Maybe your school has counseling of some sort?
