a need for a sense of worth is inherently ingrained in (our) existence itself imo. it’s tied close to having a purpose. knowing one is loved does the job as well.

and we all know at least one person that outsources there emotions instead of taking accountability.

i neither have a good self consciousness ("i am talented...") nor a bad one ("i am a loser...") and i am perfectly happy and alright

why would one need that?
"human nature" can't be the answer because why would human nature need it...?
