I have so much genuine platonic love for one of my friends. Normally I hate reaching out first and I've never particularly cared for any kinds of relationships- they just don't come naturally to me lol.

But this friend of mine gets me in so many ways, she's a lesbian trans woman so our experiences mirror each other (since I'm a gay trans man), we have similar mental illnesses, our views on basic shit like politics are the same, and even though we have virtually no fandoms/interests in common, listening to her talk about things she likes (and rambling about things I like to her) is so fun.

I could yap about this elsewhere like bsky or tumblr but I like my anonymity haha. She means a lot to me and is a genuinely close friend that I appreciate more than anything
