someone already asked me this question recently . honestly i do not know how good i am in drawing to be giving any advice .
but if you still wish to know , my advice would be to not be afraid of anything challenging , like perspective , hard lightning , etc . yes it might look a bit . . . funny in the beginning , but its still practice .
and also , no shame in tracing if you are a beginner asrtist , ill give you that . people can lose their s&!t over it and tell you that you have to "learn to draw by yourself !" but how can a beginner learn without understanding how body works first , for example ? learning anatomy os lighting from scratch is very , *very* hard , its not shameful at all to use references / trace pictures if you do it for the sake of learning how it works .
i used to trace a lot because it helped me to understand the way body bends , the way hands work and look , and now i can draw it all by myself . its still practice , and its still learning .
and dont be afraid of having your own style !
