Are you ever in the middle of doing something and realize you've been doing it wrong?

Because whenever i shower, i always think about one specific moment in a Brandon Rogers video, where the mom character says,"We don't have enough time, we gotta do PTA: Pits, Tits, Ass" and i've been showering exactly like this as long as i can remember. i stood in the shower a few days ago and was like, "why do i not scrub the rest of my body?" i proceeded to do just that and i noticed the water being significantly browner than any other shower i've taken, in similar conditions, different days. But I will say that I get fairly dirty, sweaty and dusty on the job so it's probably just that and not actual hygienic neglect
