And that's why we got leap years and shit?

Technically, your birthdays aren't EXACTLY a calendar year (365) apart because of that. It goes: normal, + 6hours, +12hours, +18 hours. Then it evens out on leap year.

So like, for some people the plus hours would make it so the full rotation of earth around the sun would actually be the next day.

So if we based birthdays on earth rotations some people's birthdays would be different dates.
