I’m thrilled about a small project I’m building at home: a fully offline AI on a laptop that functions as a personal assistant, librarian, and coding expert. I’ve downloaded the entire Wikipedia, all Reddit posts and comments, the complete StackExchange network, RFCs, OpenStreetMap, Project Gutenberg, and numerous other datasets. Every piece of data is organized into chunks and transformed into vector embeddings, stored in a RAG database that feeds a local Mistral 7B AI. Prrretty neat, huh?
Tired of people's negative opinions on stuff. Keep it to yourself. I just wanna hear about what people are excited about.
