sometimes I stop and think "damn. thank GOD I have supportive parents."

I had to tell my mom that my dumbass is gonna have to visit school in august so I can get a proper grade from PE, since, like the absolute lazy genius that I am, I decided to not exercise ONCE during PE class during the second half-year (to defend myself slightly, we have 2 PE classes IN A ROW on monday, the day with the most classes, also this is the first time in secondary school that I managed to not get a single D in my final grades)

and, I was going into this conversation with mixed expectations. This is the first time I haven't been classified from a subject, sure I fucked up before, but not in this way.

thankfully it was just a call, so I had extra confidence and managed to explain everything to her with no freaking out. We both agreed that I'm a dumbass that should've checked if me not exercising is fine with the teacher. Lesson learned, next year I'll keep it in mind.

I'm glad that I'm finally being talked to as an adult.

ts is gonna sound like a paid promotion, BUT I gotta say, the Genesis/M30 controller from 8bitdo is probably the best controller I ever bought.
it works so well with RPGs. it's got an 8-direction dpad, 6 buttons on the right instead of the 4 on usual controllers, AND it's comfortable to hold.
it does suck that there's no official software to re-bind the buttons, but the default binds aren't that bad. also I love the feature where you can make the dpad behave like either joystick with a button combination.
so far, I mostly played Deltarune, some classic Sonic games, Eastward and Celeste with this controller, and it works flawlessly!

welp, after months of on/off work, I'd say it's done!
my model, my first humanoid model, finally finished.
bendable arms, legs, torso, fingers, everything can be rotated and looks great!
sure, when you look into it in more detail you can see a shit ton of imperfections, if you bend any lower limb enough the inner layer will start to clip out real fast, some body parts aren't even fully connected, but I'm not going for realism here.
I'm aiming for a stylized look.
and I believe I achieved that.
now all that's left to do is update the template model, same with the female version, finish one more character, and I'm cookin
