I was in the shower when I had a brain blast as to why I can never finish anything! It's because I get bored!! I'll be working on a project, and I'll be really excited about it starting out. But as time goes on and I have to do things that aren't as exciting, or push me out of my comfort zone, and I become bored. I start cutting corners and eventually just drop the project all together.
And most of that is my fault. But you know who else shares some blame? ZUCKERBURG AND ALL OF THE STUPID SOCIAL MEDIA TECH CEOS THAT WANT TO HARVEST MY ATTENTION FOR PROFIT. My brain has been REWIRED to search for dopamine in EVERYTHING. And when it can't find it, it drops it and starts DOOMSCROLLING AGAIN. I don't know how to fix this. And it feels really pathetic to even complain about, but I have lost so much of my life and motivation to being bored and I hate that so much. I have so many goals I want to achieve and I am CUCKING MYSELF by letting ELON MUSK RAPE ME
I want to take someone to a nice restaurant. I want to flirt with someone, and make them laugh. I want to hold someone in my arms while they cry into my chest and tell me everything that's wrong.
