Yeah thats what i meant. People are pretentious and crave approval or, on the contrary, rageful disagreement, as a yet another way to validate themselves. From what I have observed most of the time people who say shallow phrases like that provide unrealistic solutions under which everything will collapse. There are just things that you cant change for now at least, because if you do it will be worse. Like, oh, you dont like capitalism? Well communism or whatever will just not work because of human griddy nature, plus i bet you dont take into account that under true communism there is no personal property. Capitalism can be fucked up, yes, but its still an optimal way for humans to exist, like it or not

Little quippy phrases like ts is the absolute lowest form of political discourse. "Eat the rich", anything pushing the phrase "common sense", "axe the tax" type shit.
A broader idea gets boiled down to the most concise/"clever" easily repeatable and recognizable phrase, and spreads like a meme or a virus
These low effort quips usually just serve as a virtue signal and are designed to provoke a kneejerk reaction of acceptance or rejection to identify for or against broader ideas without having any real discussion
