a 2d skin layout alongside a 3d model to paint onto
i find both to be pretty useful in different ways.

also, maybe just a blank drawing square to plan stuff? my workflow is to draw out each face in paint.net then paint the actual skin on skindex on the 3d view so having both in one would be neat. if it's web based you might end up pressed for space though.
