i agree with you on the clutter issue. it's why i was kinda putting off dealing with following and muting tags. i decided to just push it and clean it up later and add functionality as needed

having one spot for followers/following + another for muting and muted (both being in the same "window" but in different tabs, similar to a web-browser) would be cool!

Not in the same list necessarily, but having one area with a similar menu to what we have now, but having a follower tab, following tab, etc (sorry)
