Part 6 of the Norse myth
While the dragon heart cooked, a small drop of fat jumped from the heart onto Sigurds tongue. As he tasted it, the birdsong around him turned to speech. The birds warned him of great danger. Sigurd hears the crunching of gravel behind him. He turns and sees Regin charging at him furiously, a sword in his hand. Unfortunately for Regin, Sigurd was too quick, stabbing Regin first before he could strike. Regin collapses and dies. Sigurd weeps. But he has to move forward. Leaving the heart and the treasure to return to later, he rides down the woods. As heโ€™s about to make a turn, the birds urge him to keep going forward. As he continues on, he finds a massive wall of fire which went around a section of the forest. He rides his horse through it, and finds a beautiful woman asleep inside. She wakes up and asks Sigurd who he is. She explains she could only be released from the ring of fire if a man came in and was willing to take her hand in marriage. End of Part 6
