In conversation, while talking about their husbands, the princess accidentally tells about her husband and his name, Sigurd, who brynhild remembers from years ago. Heartbroken that he married someone else, she invades his quarters while he sleeps and murders him with his own sword. Devastated at what she has done, she stabs herself right after. Soon, brynhild and Sigurd find themselves in warm, grassy fields. They see each other and run towards one another, embracing the other in their arms. Sigurd explains how he thinks he was put under a spell by the queen, and Brynhild doesn’t care. She’s just happy they’re together. Odin appears and talks about how the events that happened were all set in motion by Loki, and how he apologises on lokis behalf. He sends them off towards Valhalla where they promise to keep their weapons sharp to fight for Asgard when the time comes. But that’s another story, which I also know by heart. The end.
