You’re so right. I feel like most social media platforms actually cater to the hatred and fuel it. I mean, I guess it creates more engagement and helps them make a profit, but no amount of money can outweigh the damage being done. They don’t even remove content that’s clearly hateful/harmful unless it’s at such an extreme that they can’t ignore it. It’s awful, and really demoralising.
