I wanna infodump about my interests but I'm afraid of flooding the timeline with my bs about how much I like Mother 1 and how I think the fact that it has two official books based off of it is actually very interesting and cool even for the time it was released in. it never got an officially released translation until about 2015 iirc on the wiiu virtual console, and even then it still ended up popular enough in japan for that to happen. on top of that, the authors took their own liberties with what they had at the time (which was just really shortened down story beats that happen in the game) and made something similar but different enough to what actually happens in it. it's all so interesting I just aghhh.

can you tell I'm normal about this series? not even this series, just this one game in particular? I can get worse than this I'm just stopping myself here for now before I do lol.
