Is it strange for me to still be afraid of the dark as an adult? Not exactly of the darkness itself, or even what is or isn't there outside of the cracked open door for the cats, but maybe I'm afraid of my own late night thoughts as I fail to get myself to rest. I know how bad it can get, especially this late as it stands now, yet somehow I'm still up, rambling to myself over menial things that don't matter. I can barely sleep without a nightlight still, though part of that is when I do have to get up early for a morning shift.

I'm not even sure what I'm talking about right now, maybe I should try and rest again to see if it works this time.

Growing up in a world that hates you because you exist is difficult to say the least. Maybe your parents never supported you when you really needed them. Maybe you had friends that turned their backs to you when you made a mistake. Maybe you never got support in school, like your teachers being incompetent and they let you get bullied with little to no intervention. Maybe you never grew up around a lot of other people your age, so you ended up having a harder time talking to others around you, even before covid hit.

Life will throw so much stuff at you it feels hard to keep up at times, but no matter what, the most important thing to do is to be kind to others with a smile on your face. It can be hard at times, especially in todays world, but it's worth it even if you make one person smile.

In a world full of hatred, kindness is the best weapon of all. #love #hopeposting

I wanna infodump about my interests but I'm afraid of flooding the timeline with my bs about how much I like Mother 1 and how I think the fact that it has two official books based off of it is actually very interesting and cool even for the time it was released in. it never got an officially released translation until about 2015 iirc on the wiiu virtual console, and even then it still ended up popular enough in japan for that to happen. on top of that, the authors took their own liberties with what they had at the time (which was just really shortened down story beats that happen in the game) and made something similar but different enough to what actually happens in it. it's all so interesting I just aghhh.

can you tell I'm normal about this series? not even this series, just this one game in particular? I can get worse than this I'm just stopping myself here for now before I do lol.
