I can kinda write again - that is, everything else that isn't the one story that I hadn't updated in over a month. Someone commented that they are waiting for the next part, but it seems like my hyperfixation had already ran out and writing smut isn't as fun when it doesn't get me off anymore.

Sounds like you might just be burnt out with that particular story. It happens, life happens. Unless you’re getting paid for your work, you’re not beholden to any schedule but your own, and you should remind yourself that it’s something you’re doing for fun. You can let it rest and come back to it later when you have some inspiration… or not! It’s your work after all, not theirs. You should feel free to explore some new topics/stories that interest you!

I told myself I was gonna write a book that ive been plotting since 2020 this year. I started a webcomic with ocs I made in December instead. havent even finished the outline
