Finished updating my deviantart with a few recent drawings to help me keep a decent digital portfolio (you know, in the event my computer explodes or something) and I've been hit by all the reasons I can't stand algorithm posting platforms.
Watching the view counts on my art like it's a popularity contest that I'm losing is humiliating, yet incredibly hard to look away from. But also, there's no way anything will be seen when AI gunk clogs up every tag, so like...man, there's no winning, huh?

I should start uploading copies to my Carrd instead and save the mental effort lol

I archive my art privately to avoid falling into the algorithm platform bullshit. No way to really avoid it if youre wanting to share art with the general public though :< hateee how much AI slop has taken over art spaces too ughhh

Persona 5 is amazing and the second I’m finished with the uni year I’m going right back to writing p5 fanfics on AO3 lmao
