my friends tried to match my ex boyfriend with a new girl (we are in the same friend group) and it actually made me sick to my stomach. so much so i don't want to be involved with him or anyone in that group right now

in-friend group dating always ends like this one way or another. what ur friends did is still fucked up though to be honest. how long has it been since u guys broke up ? have u tried talking to them about this ?

honestly it's been a while. i should be over it, i don't care what he does, i just don't want to be involved. what bothered me the most is:

1. we were going to hang out this saturday bc it's friend1's bday.
2. friend1 is inviting people from all of his other friend groups. makes sense, it's his bday.
3. randomly, i open our group chat and read: "@myex, you're going to have to play this saturday ;;) i just sent you a pic of the girl via private mssg".

like i'm right here lol. i don't care if he hooks up with her or whatever honestly. but why can't you just maybe communicate it JUST TO HIM why do i need to be involved. they know we've been kinda on-and-off for a long time although we're not together and such.

also i haven't gone out w my friend group in such a long time (work, uni, etc) and i just wanted to have some fun, but now i'm not going to go bc it's just so,, uncomfortable ¿¿
