I got my first set from a local stationary store, if you have any near you I would suggest giving them a ring; I haven't found any big box stores around me that sell them!

If you're online inclined, they have them on amazon as well!

If I can't find them anywhere else, then I suppose I'll just order them online. I'll give a few stores near me a try first.

Also, your post says you're based in canada, so have you heard of, or ever been to paper papier? I'm curious about their prices but I get the impression (from their website) that that store is for the people who are really interested in stationary, and will therefore be quite expensive. I feel quite awkward about wandering into a store and leaving without buying so I want to be sure that the shop isn't just filled with super expensive stuff before I go in, you know?

Ouu, I’ve never been there, but I just stalked through the google reviews for you, and it looks like there’s quite a large variety of things there!

Best practice for this stationary shops (if you feel weird about the fancy looking ones), is to go in and say you’re looking for a nice birthday card if someone asks you (it looks like they have a lot in the pictures)

It keeps you in the bracket of “has enough money to buy a speciality card”, without risking social pressure to have to buy something wildly expensive if that’s all they have.
