last estimates i heard about the steam machine were upwards of €700, and that’s not accounting for the continued increasing of prices for memory and processors, so the steamdeck may very much be the more budgetproof alternative.

i’m not too worried about using it as a functional computer since i also have a windows laptop which has been my daily driver for a while. it’s really more about the games.
