Also a underwater mech that’s as big as a whale but has arms that it can use is a thallasophobic’s and megalophobic’s worst nightmare…also idk if that’s how you spell those phobias but it’s something like that for sure.

I would kill to live in a moving anima-mech house. I’d just be walking around in remote regions in a giant animal body…

Also, I imagine a person who actually successfully makes an animal mech and spends his life living in it has to have a very interesting life story

Furries exist… and most are in high end tech positions… so that might be closer than we think lol 0_0

We already have those underwater mining and research submarines that have arms, so we’re like halfway there to underwater mechs, no?

It’s basically the main mechanic for the animatronics in those games. Springs that can lock to allow a person to pilot the animatronic. A springlock happens when those locks… y’know, don’t work. I’ll let you imagine the rest.

I was making a joke about how that might actually happen if someone tried making pilotable animal mechs lol.

And yeah I mean I’ve heard of fnaf but I’m quite ignorant about the lore behind it. I didn’t know about springlock but holy shit what a nightmare situation to be in.

But at least the animal mechs I was thinking of are like as big as a home, yknow what I mean? So that a person can just pilot can just live in the mech…how cool would that be? And if you get springlocked, at least it won’t be in super tight human-sized sentient(?) suits.

I mean, that has been an interest of people ever since ancient times. The trojan horse rings a bell, haha. Maybe not as futuristic as an actual mech.

Some sort of moving home on legs sounds really cool. A lot of movies and games put whole towns on moving fields
