Lmao yeah, I hope we’re cool like that too! Altho, alternatively we could also be 220 and 284. Because these two numbers see what’s known as Amicable Primes, and wouldn’t you say we’re amicable?
Two numbers are amicable when the factors of one add up to the other. 220 and 284 were the first ever amicable primes found, and they were found by the Ancient Greeks!
In this case; 220’s factors are 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 20, 22, 44, 55, 110. These added together make 284. And the factors of 284 are 1, 2, 4, 71, 142 which make 220. Ofc when you list the factors, for the amicable primes calculation, you have to list every factor other than the number itself. So in this way, we could 220 and 284 instead!
What’s cool about these is that they require very simple maths but mathematicians are yet to find them all and they appear to be quite rare as the next pair is 17,296 and 18,416!
