Do any of you have experience with volunteering at a homeless shelter? How was it? I want to actually help but I’m super nervous and anxious about it…

close, I did community service at a mission for giving away furniture and toys to families in need. Its very straight forward.

i would email the place you're thinking of trying out and asking what the average day/expectations are for a volunteer. it will vary place to place, most likely, and they would hopefully want to accommodate what you're most comfortable doing
