i hate dating culture--that is, going on dates with strangers/people you met on dating apps/people you only know for the purpose of dating them. it's so dumb why would that make for a good dynamic? what's the point? just date your friends. if you are good friends and attracted to each other enough to go on a date you would also be good partners. idk maybe i'm just autistic

completely agree with this, I feel like hook-up culture and the like has really ruined people's ideas of commitment and truly connecting/vibing with your partner before getting into a deep relationship with them.

Yesss I dont get it at all! It takes me a very long time to build enough of a bond to even want to date someone, I dont get how people are falling in love with strangers. Your partner is supposed to be your best freind as well, so why wouldnt you want to have that established friendship already?

yes i agree heavily . i never understood the appeal behind *seeking* for someone to date , and it never worked out for me , either .

i thought that people usually become friends first , develop close feelings to eachother yada yada , but apparently some hope to find love by just hopping from stranger to stranger . i dont think this is how it works lol .
