As a biologist, I hate the LIE that humans are naturally greedy. That simply isn't the truth. We literally have a part of our brain built to care about each other and build community, selflessness is in our literal biology. That's how homosapiens were able to evolve as quick as they did, that's how they spread as quick as they did. The ISSUE is that humans, today, are forced to be selfish. We live in an economic system that inherently goes against our biology, it makes you think that humans are naturally selfish because in a world where people are forced to put others down, take whatever they can find, keep things to themselves, push others away, ext, that all is against our NATURAL needs and desires. Communism is the only "natural" economic system, because it's the only one that requires community. The others actively go against it.

humans are not naturally greedy, but clearly there are some greedy or power hungry humans, which can be seen through the existence of billionaires (and as most have likely met someone they consider greedy), and just a few of these people would be enough to prevent a system from communism from working. this is, in my opinion, the reason that every past large scale attempt at communism has eventually turned into some form of authoritarianism, and the "provisional" government almost never is actually provisional, as the people in it don't want to let go of their power. it is hypothetically good, but it has been shown multiple times not to work, and just attempting it again and again isn't going to help

Anyone can be greedy. If any of us were given that type of power, it would be hard to turn down. They just don't know what it's like to be us. And the existence of the smallest minority in the world being greedy, which is true, isn't an excuse to say that communism wouldn't work. Communism has worked, it always worked, until colonization entered gullible communities and ripped them apart, forcing capitalism on them and ensuring corruption so great they can't get out of it. The earliest humans were communist, the oldest humans were communist, it's the ones stupid enough to think that greed is an excuse to alter the natural order of things that make it not work. That doesn't mean those of us should just let them continue to market off of their greed off of the backs of us.

i agree with your point about the oldest humans, but it's important to note that they were in very small communities, and were essentially all equal due to the lack of time and resources to keep personal property, especially prior to the agricultural revolution but also for some time after. in our current system, with agriculture and industrialization and large cities, as well as an established system were some have far more power than others, i don't believe communism can work. in fact, in classical marxist theory, the government is expected to naturally wither away, but even you admitted that any of us would likely not turn down that kind of power

I'm not a marxist. :p I never claimed to be, marxism is a kind of communism but being communist doesn't inherently make you marxist. I don't believe the government will just wither away, and even if I did I'd rather speed up the process than wait around for it to happen. People can't have power if they have nothing to gain power from, anarchist communism focuses on taking power from the elites and forcing it back into the hands of civilians. Which is what I am advocating for.

you're right, sorry for assuming you are a marxist. how do you plan to take power from the elites and giving it to civilians? i agree that civilians should have the power rather than a small number of elites, just very hard to come up with a method of transferring power that doesn't lead to people temporarily being given power and having to give it back to the people

I already explained that, that's what I began explaining. Asking repetitive questions as if I haven't already answered them with not only direct answers but also with the explanation of the fact that no one can start any mission without establishing goals isn't a real response and just results in circular conversation.
