Most people don't acc fuck with AI, Those that do (online) very likely are bots (or just stupid!)
The amount of disinformation you can sow with an army of GPT is lucrative to nation-states, But even large corporations are now... That the venture capital funding is running dry, and LLM companies are needing to acc make money. Realise it's crazy expensive and not worth it.
My view has always been that in for the most part it's not worth it, but if it *does* have purpose for research that's good. But if I'm not curing cancer it's not pivotal to my work.
Frankly these jobs/tools are both here to stick, it will not become significantly more viable and it's current rate is unsustainable.. Does it have a place in the future? maybe...
Is it going to be big as the hype, absolutely not. Just keep working and developing your skills and do what you can to keep yourself happy and fulfilled
