when i graduated high school it was really lonely because all my friends were like a year below me and i started college online and i worked and i hated my online classes and i hated my job
but after almost a year i got taken to prom by my boyfriend (he was also a year below me), which i really needed at the time
we rented matching suits and we went to prom together and i got to spend a really awesome evening with him and all my friends that i missed so much and it was like the best thing ever, we all had a great time
but the part i still long for the most,
at the end of prom, before we left, when me and my boyfriend changed out of our suits into casual clothing
i wasnt forced to use the girls restroom to change i got to comfortably and safely go into the guys restroom like a cis guy and i got changed in the stall next to his
it wasnt a big deal to anyone but me
if im lucky someday i will experience comfort and safety again
