I think that consciousness is the one thing we know for sure is real. Your every experience demonstrates it. Any attempt to disprove it will invariably include some conscious experience in the process.

People far smarter than me have said that consciousness is an illusion though. I guess to them I have to say, I have no idea what that could possibly mean.
