Which mention Aisha being a girl of “playing age”, which could be anywhere from 5-15 when a verse from a chapter in the Quran was first recited. This is thought to be in 6AH at least 7 years before their marriage (or proposal) and 9-10 years before she moved to live with him, giving a range of 14-24 years old when the marriage is consummated. The low part of that range is disturbing, yes, but still shattering the 6 or 9 age claim and aligning well with the likely age of 20.
