#chooseyouradventure part 6!

The guards marched forward, and you were not seen. After a minute or two, you are now sure there is no risk to advancing.

"Follow me, we're almost there"

You follow the muscular man to the path the guards came from. You hear a singular man screaming and sobbing.

"The torture chambers", he says. "The most isolated place of the dungeon. And the perfect place to set up an escape route. Keep the secret, ay?"

A series of loose bricks open up to a dark tight tunnel.

"After you.", he says.

You both crawl for hours before getting out. The air is cool and a thin layer of snow is starting to form on the open. Snavenfall the Kingdom of ivory and ice. It's almost dawn. The palace you were under just a few hours ago is not far. Its impressive architecture scrapes the sky.

"Wait", the man says, "I've seen your face before. Your bounties reached all the way to the north! I've heard the rumors. Black magic... but why?"
