What do you do when you’ve lost all faith in society? I’ve tried surrounding myself with “my tribe” and I’ve just alienated all of them by being my authentic self for the first time ever.

Society is geared against me, and a man cannot be an island apparently?

It’s a genuine dilemma. Do you be authentic from the start and scare most people off or do you lie a little at least at the beginning only to scare them all eventually.

I’m an ex-Muslim. When I came out as not being Muslim I lost every friend and family member I had, well, all except one.

They’re mostly all back now though.
