A new parasite identified in the common sardine (*Sardina pilchardus*) belongs to the genus *Glugea* (a type of microsporidian); it was discovered by researchers from the University of Navarra (Spain)... and as someone who eats a lot of sardines, I have to say... I'm screwed... possibly? Depends on how they manage the situation, God I hate parasites, I hope I dont get any of that NASTY stuff
