Dragons are dragons, plain and simple; "wyvern" is just another way of saying "serpent" ("wyvere" in middle english), much like "dragon" and "wyrm" (though the latter leans more towards "worm"). Anyway, my point is that these are simply different adaptations of the dragon archetype and that a dragon that walks using its wings is still a dragon, and not something "different".
