can someone explain to me how lawyers do it?
Like- there are lawyers out there who can defend their client even if they know their client is guilty. Not only that, they attack the person they know to be innocent just to save their guilty client- How in the fuck is that justice and not just theatrics? Do i have to rely on a theater to get justice? Is a court proceeding just a competition to see which lawyer is the better actor/better at convincing the crowds that their client is innocent? Why did we collectively decide that this is how justice should be delivered - by who can simply be more convincing...Not to mention, the biggest hack of all - MONEY. This is why half the criminals that should be in jail are out there running companies.
