TRAINING AI IS A COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, AND AI 'ARTISTS' ARE NOT ARTISTS. (a comprehensive legal proof)
Under the copyright act 1994, in NZ, AI media is interpreted as computer generated work, which is "generated by computer in circumstances such that there is no human author of the work," and as such, under section 97, has NO AUTHOR. Therefore AI artists are not artists, as they are not authors of that work.
The copyright act 1994 also defines copying a work as "reproducing, recording, or storing the work in any material form (including any digital format), in any medium and by any means." Copying a work is a restricted act (something you cannot do without a copyright owner's permission) under section 30, meaning that when AI bros comb the internet and copy your art without permission, that is a copyright violation.

Which windows version do you think will become a tiered subscription service, or at least introduce microtransactions, to use software on our own hardware? I feel like this is a business model that will be considered in the next few years :(
