I support @charsocial 🌟 going open source, but i would get that @choom 🌟 doesnt want this (messy codebase, vulnerabilities etc...)

Personally, I am curious to have a look.

But in the age where AI slop clones exist, I would be hesitant myself to share something that I actually care about.

Of you consider making it open, maybe start with a period of invite only @choom.

Open source doesn't always include public code contributions.
Projects like curl had to stop accepting public pull requests because of ai slop

SQLite is maybe even a better example. They publish their source, but their whole development is is closed. No option for contributions.

They also do not publish their test suite, which limits how easy someone can make an AI slop clone.
