am i wrong for being pushy about open source / free software?

it's just a topic i'm so passionate about and it feels so relevant and warranted nowadays, it just drives me nuts when ppl immediately dismiss anything that they aren't used to already. it's like even if the sky was falling most would say "well but underground bunkers are icky and i'm not used to them, i'll stay in my crumbling home!". maybe it's just me trying to assign worth to my own actions but it's glaringly obvious that your fucking 1$/mo vpn is not gonna help you in a year, or a month YOU CAN'T FUCKING RELY ON IT FOR YOUR DAILY LIFE CAUSE GOV-T WILL TAKE IT AWAY LIKE IT DID WITH EVERYTHING ELSE.

i'm only human. i can't singlehandedly convince even 5 people to switch software, not to even mention any significant amount. even if i try i'll just sound like a doomsday prepper idiot.

i'm tired. i don't want to lose. i don't want to die. i don't know if i'm right. i'm tired.
