the idea that trans women shouldn't compete in women's sports assumes:
- trans women have an advantage (which they do not)
- sports are fair in the first place
even if trans women did have an unfair advantage, it wouldnt matter. there are already plenty of unfair advantages people have in sports. things like genetics, or socioeconomic factors. but of course, nobody is arguing we should ban rich people from sports. after all, they're the people we're being paid by.
