To be clear, if you were to ask a lot Muslims what was true, they would take your position mostly based on respect for some long dead religious figure.

However, I’m telling you that if you interrogate the primary sources, you would struggle to corroborate the story. In fact, every attempt shows it to be false.

I have little interest in following some long dead religious figure that is deemed β€œauthoritative”. My sole focus is in working out what is actually true.

This is blatant anthropocentrism. There is no reason consciousness is special. Consciousness is just what happens when neurons congregate. It is just chemistry doing what chemistry does. You can argue theism is spritiually beneficial (which I would debate) – but that doesn't make it more true, or somehow make consciousness integral.

The false stories come from a collection called, the Hadith. There is a story coming from one person stating the false age plainly.

However every attempt to construct a timeline of her life using many different people as sources gives us an age of around 20 at age of marriage.
