it hurts

the looking on social media. the continous feed of seeing hate, war, murder, death, brutality.

it physically hurts.

I know thats what they want. I know my overstimulation. I know my inability to do much. I know me 1 person cannot do a lot. But it still hurts.

I want the ability to grow old. I want the ability to have kids. I want the ability to live just because I am allowed to. But it is being taken from me. I am with everyone while this world is being picked a part for profit and I cannot do much.

for the past while i have been working on a world-wide-web inspired project.
it is called ReWeb, it is using its own transport protocol instead of HTTP, its own decentralized naming system instead of DNS.

you can find it at `https://github.com/protocol-rwp/ReWeb` or download it at `https://github.com/protocol-rwp/ReWeb/releases` which includes the server and browser downloads.

i made this because i thought it would be nice to have a separate web for people who like the indieweb or just the older/prototype world-wide-web where it felt more special instead of being a place for companies to steal your data.

you can go to `yousite.rws` in the ReWeb browser to host a static-site for no cost.

it would be great if anyone tried out the project. Thank you.

Keyne stood beside her, letting all the panic and adrenaline fade, allowing that cool apathy to overtake him and push outwards, washing over the sea serpent that thrashed at the ship. Little by little, its coils loosened and its fury dimmed. The crew faltered too, cutlasses falling to the deck with muffled clangs, some even sitting heavily where they had fought and beginning to doze.

Slowly, the creature’s coils sank back beneath the waves. As its head disappeared, Keyne could see its eyes close, relaxing into sleep.
