it hurts

the looking on social media. the continous feed of seeing hate, war, murder, death, brutality.

it physically hurts.

I know thats what they want. I know my overstimulation. I know my inability to do much. I know me 1 person cannot do a lot. But it still hurts.

I want the ability to grow old. I want the ability to have kids. I want the ability to live just because I am allowed to. But it is being taken from me. I am with everyone while this world is being picked a part for profit and I cannot do much.

I feel the same way <3 it feels like there’s nothing we can do because at the end of the day, we still need to work so we can afford to eat and we can’t just quit, but we can be there for each other, so while I can’t really offer much in terms of solutions, I can hold space for you <3 *gives you hugs if you want them* good people still exist, I promise :)

I can relate to this a lot. Ive been trying to stay away from social media more often so im not constantly bombarded with seeing the world degenerate. Ive always just wanted a simple life, with a simple love. But social media makes it feel like that dream becomes more impossible by the day :(
