everyone just leaves MVM after losing one round?? it takes like, 3 minutes per round at most, but fail it once, and you have to leave all your teammates behind? we had strong upgrades, we just whiffed a few things, and everyone left. and this happens on pretty much every MVM server. also kinda blows harder when it takes forever to get in a boot camp in the first place.

maybe player mentality would change if it was the paid-for ticket version, but my broke ass isn't forking over money just to maybe get in a match with people willing to stay for longer than 3 minutes on each round. it's not gonna kill you to retry, especially with nothing at stake.

maybe i'm just a little salty i don't get to play my engineer crit build as much as i want to. yeah, maybe that too.

and since this is one of the few posts to use almost all characters, certainly more than average, is it like this site's version of a twitlonger? a charlonger.

Can't say much for the casual mvm since I've only done the paid tickets a few times, but even there its the same. Fuck up once and either one guy will leave and the rest manage to pull it through, or everyone leaves to requeue. Not to mention the meta build people - .-

and don't get me started about the meta people, especially in boot camp. there's no stakes, who cares if our pyro is using the gas passer or not.

Well you don't lose the ticket unless you win, so the main thing you lose if people leave is just massive queue times since it's not as popular as it was. As for meta I just stick with soldier, barely no conplaints about that

i did like 25 tours and it was the exact same shit when everyone was paying money for it. most of the time people would be respectful but at night especially everyone was just mad and wanted to leave any game that wasn't going literally perfectly. then the two times we should've left because almost everyone was too bad to complete it we ended up sitting around for 30 minutes failing for some reason ;-;
