Agreed; that reason is why I’ve added it to my web viewing rotation!

If it ever blows up and gets very heavy in the user base, I’m sure some changes will have to be made to accommodate it; if it ever gets too saturated though, I think it’ll lose its original appeal in pursuit of expansion, or just end up as another generic forum.

It’d be interesting to have a user cap and auto deactivation of inactive accounts (say 6 months or so); not for the sake of gatekeeping, but to keep the micro community active and accessible. It would also be cool to have multiples, so if one site was at a user cap, you could join another one with open slots. Like internet tribes without the tribalism, because there’s no uniform archetype for users.

Maybe not for char, but even as a general idea for a microblogging platform !
