Honestly same, I dodged 3D like the plague until it was required for my university module. That being said, it's not as bad as I always assumed, especially since I'm sculpting for render only - not animation or 3D Printing.

I think unsettling is a much more interesting form of horror content than outright scary. I like when things are somewhere between friendly and uncomfortable - I'm a big fan of the uncanny, and obsession is another uncomfortable feeling that pairs well ^^

Also it's kinda based off my own staring problem ngl. I've been told I'm weird (autistic) so I end up trying to behave like other people to shake the label, but that always ends up right where I started. So the creature is, like, halfway between being a metaphor and not.
Just like it's halfway between being a person and not.
