Lately I've been thinking about how the rise of AI, the death Internet theory, the people noticing the addicted they are to social networks, and how they are always being observed and every piece of data of theirs will be sold to mega corporations only to make them more addicted, and many other things that I don't have the time and the knowledge to enumerate here. Will cause the people to try escape that world, making webs like "Your AI slops bores me", this anti-social, cyberdecks.

I think this is like a Renaissance, the neo-Renaissance / cyber-Renaissance.

Or maybe I'm just crazy. idk

"old internet" still exists, it's just overshadowed by the websites that have the monopoly (such as youtube or twitter) and a huge majority of people simply don't have either the knowledge or the need to seek it out. still though, the only way to truly avoid the tricks of mega corporations is to entirely leave the internet behind. which i think a very small part of the first world might start doing at some point, but it's a matter of priority. using the internet *with* its surveillance is still the path of least resistance.
